There is currently no maximum message size configured on our email server.

However, some mailboxes might be subject to quota restrictions. Generally we set mailbox quotas at 50Mb. This effectively means that you cannot receive an email larger than 50Mb. The other thing to consider is that historically the mail server has to make a copy of each message before allowing you to download it, so in general it is unwise to send email attachments that are any larger than 20Mb.

Your site administrator can change the quota for individual mailboxes if necessary, but remember that all mail contributes towards your overall site quota. Some mailboxes have been set to a 0Mb quota. This indicates that there is no individual quota limit on this mailbox.
