Generally speaking, normal operations have resumed. 

Email is almost back to normal, but further downtime is expected. 

After 446 days of continual uptime on the Linux server, we just experienced almost three days' downtime as the result of a fire at the data centre, which took out all the electrical supply to the building.

With all the wild weather in Sydney, I've seen a lot of  equipment blown up recently. I used to be a bit of a humbug when it came to surge protection, but not anymore.

People buy PCs because they want to tell them what to do - not to be told what they themselves might like to do...
